The vocabulary trainer works with lists, which contain "definition-items".
Definition-Items are items which contain the char-chain, the "label" " == " (SpaceSpace==SpaceSpace). For the case, the items having identical leading parts (e.g. "ger: - "), these part will be ignored (the first two items will be checked for this). Additions (as e.g. a date) at the items end will be ignored, beginning with the marker " // ". Also, but only at the write test, parts with square brackets will be ignored (e.g. " [fig] "). Because this simple princip, the vokablulary trainer may also useable for other learning cases (knowledge trainer).
Example for a definition item:
This item will be parsed into the two parts
b) Damm, Deich, Schutzdamm, Uferdamm
Advice: For the notice of variations its proposed to use this form:
eng: - likely - more likely == eher, wahrscheinlicher
eng: - likely - most likely == am ehesten
eng: - likely - very likely == sehr wahrscheinlich
• The Trainer Dialog
The trainer has the three mode Normal, Reverse and Write-Test (at reverse-mode). To step on, use the space key. By F1-key, the right result will be highlighted.
For the case of systematical exercises, errors can be noticed. For an error case, into the error-item a link to an exersise-item will be inserted. The exercise-item can be selected by the drop-down-list. This list offers all items at the same level as the definition-list. That means, before to start an exercise, create there an current exercise-item.
Advice: Don't start with error notes untill the exercise content is relative gotten. Then simple, hard and very hard translation can be identified, and special exercise list could be created. An example:
